School-age and Master’s Programs

MISSION

Our mission at Nashville Water Polo Club is to grow the sport of Water Polo in the Middle Tennessee area and to foster a positive, supportive, and competitive environment where athletes of all skill levels can grow, challenge themselves, and develop their water polo abilities. We pride ourselves on teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship both in and out of the pool.

At Nashville Water Polo Club, we believe that teamwork, determination, and a love for the water can build champions—both in and out of the pool. We have two programs — a school-age and a Master’s program.

THE SCHOOL-AGED PROGRAM

  • Designed for kids ages 12-18, the school-aged program offers a supportive and challenging environment where athletes can develop their skills, fitness, and confidence.

THE MASTER’S PROGRAM

  • Includes Wednesday night and weekend practices and a separate tournament schedule. On Wednesdays and weekends, the Master’s and school-aged programs practice together.

Our goal is to inspire a passion for water polo, foster personal growth, and cultivate a community of athletes who support one another’s success.

  • We welcome players of all experience levels—from swimmers curious about the sport to seasoned athletes looking to sharpen their competitive edge.

  • We provide structured practices, expert coaching, and engaging scrimmages where everyone learns and develops skills together as part of a team.

  • Our players learn not only the fundamentals of water polo but also valuable life skills such as discipline, communication, and sportsmanship.

JOIN THE TEAM

Please follow the steps to join:

  1. Join us at a practice to see the team in action and talk to the coaches and players. Once you have joined us for a practice or two and you fall in love with the game, you can complete the registration form below.

  2. Join American Water Polo. To be registered on the team and for all state tournaments, you need an American Water Polo Association Membership ID (master athletes can skip this step).

  3. Sign our waiver and complete the registration form (using the link or button below). Student-athletes also need to complete the club form.

CALENDAR

PRACTICE Schedule

The schedule is updated monthly. Practice locations vary based on pool availability. 

Generally speaking, there are practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays, every other Wednesday, Saturdays, and Sundays. 

Practice locations include:

  • Williamson County Indoor Sports Complex - 920 Heritage Way, Brentwood, TN 37027

  • Optional Murfreesboro Scrimmages are at the Murfreesboro Sportscom - 2310 Memorial Blvd, Murfreesboro, TN 37130

  • Centennial Sportsplex - 222 25th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37203
